BlobEvent: BlobEvent() constructor

This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since September 2020.

The BlobEvent() constructor returns a newly created BlobEvent object with an associated Blob.

Syntax

new BlobEvent(type, options)

A string with the name of the event. It is case-sensitive and browsers always set it to dataavailable.

An object that, in addition of the properties defined in Event(), can have the following properties:

data: The Blob associated with the event.
timecode Optional: A DOMHighResTimeStamp to be used in initializing the blob event.

A new BlobEvent object.
