DeviceMotionEvent: interval property

This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since September 2023.

Secure context: This feature is available only in secure contexts (HTTPS), in some or all supporting browsers.

The interval read-only property of the DeviceMotionEvent interface returns the interval, in milliseconds, at which data is obtained from the underlying hardware. You can use this to determine the granularity of motion events.

Value

A number representing the interval of time, in milliseconds.
