The HTMLAnchorElement interface represents hyperlink elements and provides special properties and methods (beyond those of the regular HTMLElement object interface that they inherit from) for manipulating the layout and presentation of such elements. This interface corresponds to <a> element; not to be confused with <link>, which is represented by HTMLLinkElement.

HTMLAnchorElement.attributionSourceId-
A non-negative integer representing the attribution source identifier used for Private Click Measurement. Valid values are from
0to255. HTMLAnchorElement.attributionSrcSecure context-
Gets and sets the
attributionsrcattribute on an<a>element programmatically, reflecting the value of that attribute.attributionsrcspecifies that you want the browser to send anAttribution-Reporting-Eligibleheader. On the server-side this is used to trigger sending anAttribution-Reporting-Register-Sourceheader in the response, to register a navigation-based attribution source. HTMLAnchorElement.download-
A string indicating that the linked resource is intended to be downloaded rather than displayed in the browser. The value represents the proposed name of the file. If the name is not a valid filename of the underlying OS, the browser will adapt it.
HTMLAnchorElement.hash-
A string representing the fragment identifier, including the leading hash mark (
#), if any, in the referenced URL. HTMLAnchorElement.host-
A string representing the hostname and port (if it's not the default port) in the referenced URL.
HTMLAnchorElement.hostname-
A string representing the hostname in the referenced URL.
HTMLAnchorElement.href-
A string that is the result of parsing the
hrefHTML attribute relative to the document, containing a valid URL of a linked resource. HTMLAnchorElement.hreflang-
A string that reflects the
hreflangHTML attribute, indicating the language of the linked resource. HTMLAnchorElement.interestForElement-
Gets or sets the target element of an interest invoker, in cases where the associated
<a>element is specified as an interest invoker. HTMLAnchorElement.originRead only-
Returns a string containing the origin of the URL, that is its scheme, its domain and its port.
HTMLAnchorElement.password-
A string containing the password specified before the domain name.
HTMLAnchorElement.pathname-
A string containing an initial
/followed by the path of the URL, not including the query string or fragment. HTMLAnchorElement.ping-
A space-separated list of URLs. When the link is followed, the browser will send
POSTrequests with the body PING to the URLs. HTMLAnchorElement.port-
A string representing the port component, if any, of the referenced URL.
HTMLAnchorElement.protocol-
A string representing the protocol component, including trailing colon (
:), of the referenced URL. HTMLAnchorElement.referrerPolicy-
A string that reflects the
referrerpolicyHTML attribute indicating which referrer to use. HTMLAnchorElement.rel-

Returns a string containing the whole URL. It is a synonym for
HTMLAnchorElement.href, though it can't be used to modify the value.
