LinearAccelerationSensor: LinearAccelerationSensor() constructor

Limited availability

This feature is not Baseline because it does not work in some of the most widely-used browsers.

Secure context: This feature is available only in secure contexts (HTTPS), in some or all supporting browsers.

The LinearAccelerationSensor() constructor creates a new LinearAccelerationSensor object which provides on each reading the acceleration applied to the device along all three axes, but without the contribution of gravity.

Syntax

js
new LinearAccelerationSensor()
new LinearAccelerationSensor(options)

Parameters

Options are as follows:

The desired number of times per second a sample should be taken, meaning the number of times per second that the reading event will be called.
